4149 sacramento st

By Andy on July 11, 2015

I didn’t think anything could top the last Concord listing we posted here. This one comes mighty close –a 1963 4/2 atrium model, over 1795 SqFt, in the Rancho Del Diablo neighborhood. One for the purists, with original kitchen and baths, unpainted ceilings and fireplace, mahogany paneling, original doors and hardware. It’s all there. There’s even a matching cabana out back, plus a sparkling pool. Yes please.

Hi Andy. This is amazing. It looks as if it has stepped out of the original brochure. Can’t believe it is 50 years later. Brilliant.

You’re right, Tony, but (somehow) it still looks modern, thanks to the timelessness of the original design.

Oh yes. I dig those floors.

Agreed. They look great. That said, we are going for pretty much the polar opposite…pun intended!

Any idea as to what color grey the house is? It looks great!

I have no idea, David, sorry. It looks a similar gray to the one we used.

…oh, if you are trying to pick a gray, we’d advise painting sections of plywood or something portable, so you can see how colors look in different lights/sides of the house. Ideally, painting onto the siding in different areas would give the best representation. We had a few false starts with ours, until we found the ‘right’ gray: Pier, by Behr.
