Joseph Eichler was a pioneering post-war developer who built 11,000+ distinctly modern homes, almost all in California, from the late forties, ’til his death, in 1974.

Most Eichler Homes were built around the Bay Area, with further neighborhoods in SoCal, Sacramento (that’s us) and a tiny three-home tract in upstate New York.
